1 can @koofoodsa lite guava halves in fruit juice, cut into quarters
1/2 cup @koofoodsa lite fruit juice ( remaining liquid from the guava halves can)
3 overripe bananas
1 cup raspberries
1 cup blueberries
Open a can of KOO lite guava halves and drain the fruit juice into a clean container. Set the liquid in the fridge to be used later.
Cut the guava halves in half then place in a freezer safe container and freeze overnight or for at least 6 hours.
Peel then chops the bananas into chunks then place them in a freezer safe container and freeze overnight or for at least 6 hours.
Along with the other fruit, freeze the raspberries and blueberries for the same duration.
Once the fruit is frozen transfer all the fruit into the bowl of a blender.
If the fruit is frozen solid allow it to thaw for about 5 minutes as not to strain the blender.
Add the KOO lite fruit juice to the blender.
Blitz on high speed for about 2 minutes. You might have to open the blender midway to shift the fruit in the blender gets stuck or add a little bit more juice, a little at a time to assist the blender.
Serve immediately as soft serve ice cream or transfer into a freezer safe container for about 2 hours to achieve a more scoopable consistency.
Side tip:
Don’t throw away overripe bananas. Chop them up and keep them in freezer bags and use them when you’re in the mood for a healthy frozen breakfast or snack. Pair them with your favourite KOO canned fruit and enjoy the convenience!
