A year ago KOO began its mission of helping Mzansi eat better. Through a new season of our cooking show, Colour Your Plate With KOO, we have once again inspired South Africans to reap all the nutritional benefits of our products–one colourful plate at a time.

Colour Your Plate with KOO Season 2 is now just days away from crowning Mzansi's Next Cooking Star. This season has been a whirlwind of wins and losses, tension and excitement, celebrity guest judges, (and most importantly), delicious, colourful and nutritious food. In every challenge our contestants wowed the nation with their creations and through this showed us how easy it is to eat better. All you need is KOO!

Our talented contestants faced cooking challenges that put their skills and creativity to the test, all to impress the judges and make it through to the next round. From Baked Beans and Beetroot-focused challenges to Heritage and Cooking for Kids, our contestants pulled out all the stops. 

Chef Reuben Riffel and KOO Nutritionist, Arthur Ramoroka were joined by The Lazy Makoti, Lentswe Bhengu, Jackie Cameron, Liesl Laurie, Bobby Van Jaarsveld, kid judges and more. Meals were enjoyed and critiqued - not one judge held back! 

Six challenges down and JP, Karen, Thuli, Thabisho, Ilhaam, Gomolemo, Illona and Lesego came out triumphant as the Top 8. Every week we saw some of Mzansi’s beloved contestants’ culinary skills get put to the test. Although, for some, their time on the show came to an end, they are now set up for a thriving future in food!

With help from Chef Reuben Riffel’s final Masterclass, it’s down to the Top 3 to battle it out for the title of Mzansi’s Next Cooking Star! Will it be Karen, Thabisho or Thuli? Tune in on Tuesday 22 November and Tuesday 29 November at 7pm on SABC 2, for the 2 part grand finale, and find out who will be crowned the winner!
