Mutter Paneer - Peas & Cottage Cheese Gravy

Mutter Paneer - Peas & Cottage Cheese Gravy

Ingredients:

  • 1 can KOO Fresh Garden peas, drained & rinsed
  • 1 medium sized onion, roughly chopped
  • 1½ tsp ginger & garlic paste
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 sachet KOO Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • A pinch dried fenugreek leaves
  • A pinch salt
  • A pinch pepper
  • 200 g cottage cheese, cubed
  • 2 - 3 tbsp cream
  • Coriander to garnish

Kitchen gadgets:

Blender, medium pan, sharp knife

Method:

  1. Blend the chopped onion together with the ginger garlic paste. Blend until it forms a fine paste.
  2. In a medium pan, heat some oil and stir fry your onion ginger garlic paste for a few minutes.
  3. Add in your tomato paste and the vegetable stock.
  4. Stir frequently adding in the spices.
  5. Mix well and allow to cook for a 10 minutes. Add the salt and pepper.
  6. Finally, add in the cottage cheese cubes, peas and cream.
  7. Allow the gravy to cook for 10 more minutes. Then serve it warm with some coriander garnish.
