Tiger Brands' KOO, one of SA's most iconic brands, is thrilled to be recognised as the Overall Favourite Brand in South Africa. The brand was voted SA's best in the Sunday Times Top Brands 2015 survey, beating several strong international brands to clinch top honours.
The survey is conducted amongst over 2500 people in South Africa and comprises two components:
- the presence of the brand
- the concept of relative advantage (a brand’s relative strength among its users and its relative attraction among non-users).
“This award demonstrates that KOO has been a trusted partner found in every South African's kitchen. Our products have been grown, prepared and served with love, because for our South African Rainbow nation- only the best will do!” says KOO's Mandy du Plessis.
For 75 years KOO has been part of South African meals – whether it’s cramming for finals at varsity, weddings, funerals, family get togethers or simply being together with friends, KOO has something for every South African.
