On the Expresso Show, Chef Moira made an unusual but delightful looking and tasting Beetroot and Pear Loaf. High in Vitamin C, the addition of KOO Grated & Spiced Beetroot added a pop of colour and a great earthy taste when combined with KOO Pear Halves in Syrup. Grated orange rind helped to bring out the flavours of the beetroot and a cream cheese frosting smothered on top completed this unique dessert. The simple to follow and easy to use recipe makes two loaves; one to enjoy immediately, and one to freeze for when unexpected guests pop in.
