PIZZA WITH PEACHES, BASIL, AND GOAT CHEESE

PIZZA WITH PEACHES, BASIL, AND GOAT CHEESE

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made pizza crust
  • Olive oil, for brushing the crust
  • 1½ cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 200g KOO Peach Slices in Syrup, drained and rinsed
  • 170g goat cheese
  • Small handful fresh basil, cut into ribbons

Kitchen gadgets:

Baking tray, grease-proof paper, pastry brush

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 250°C degrees.
  2. Lightly brush the crust with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the crust and then sprinkle over the walnuts.
  4. Arrange the peach slices on the pizza and crumble the goat cheese on top.
  5. Reduce the oven temperature to 220°C degrees.
  6. Transfer the pizza onto a baking tray lined with grease-proof paper to the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, until the cheese and crust begin to brown. Remove the pizza from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before sprinkling with fresh basil and serving.
