PEACH COBBLER

PEACH COBBLER

Ingredients:

Peach filling

  • 1 can KOO Peach Slices with juice
  • ½ - 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar

General

  • 1 stick (½ cup) butter

Cobbler topping

  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup flour

Kitchen gadgets:

Non stick pan, Spatula, Oven Proof tart dish, Wooden spoon

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Combine sugar, lemon juice and peach slices with juice in a large pan. Cook, stirring constantly, till sugar melts and mixture boils. Mix in cinnamon to taste. Put mixture at the bottom of a tart dish.
  3. Melt butter in large baking baking dish. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk till just combined and pour over butter. Mix to form a batter. Spoon over peaches.
  4. Bake for about 45 minutes or till golden brown and bubbly.
